Maintenance

Maintenance on your air conditioning system is just as important as it is for your vehicle. We have our cars serviced every 3,000-5,000 miles to keep them at their optimal performance and save money with today’s high energy costs. Did you know that preventative maintenance on your air conditioning system can not only save you money but also help prevent costly repairs? United Air Conditioning knows the importance of saving money, that’s why we came up with 3 different plans to fit any budget!

BRONZE PACKAGE $79.00

Includes one inspection per year of:

Indoor Air Handler / Furnace – check temperature split across evaporator coil, tighten electrical connections, inspect amp draw of heat strips, check condition of blower motor, check condition of contactors, lubricate motor (if applicable), clean condensate drain pan, vacuum and flush condensate drain line, check evaporator coils, inspect operation of thermostat and change filters. (Filters are an additional cost if not supplied by customer)

Outdoor Unit or Heat Pump – check refrigerant pressures, check compressor amperage, check temperature split across condensing coils, inspect and tighten electrical connections, check conditioning of condenser motor, condition of contactors, inspect and clean condensing coils.

In addition to the above, you will also receive a 10% service discount on all parts and labor regardless of the season, “priority status” during high activity periods, we serve you first, and 24 hour emergency service 365 days a year, service at your convenience not ours!

SILVER PACKAGE $140.00

Includes the entire BRONZE package above, PLUS an additional inspection per year, visually inspect duct work for leakage or mold, sanitize your duct system using a bacteriostat-fungistat-deodorizer that is EPA registered and formulated for use in HVAC systems.

GOLD PACKAGE $275.00

Includes all of the above PLUS a duct pressure test to insure there are not any leaks or problems with your duct system. What we do is attach our Duct Blaster fan directly to the duct system in your home, typically at a central return, or at the air handler cabinet. With the remaining registers and grilles temporarily taped off, duct airtightness is measured by pressurizing the duct system and precisely measuring the air fan flow and duct pressure. Duct airtightness measurements are used to diagnose and demonstrate leakage problems, estimate efficiency losses from duct leakage, and certify compliance with duct leakage standards. (Duct system must be completely accessible contact us for details)
